Luke Onstad with this 22 point buck from Hous­ton Coun­ty scor­ing 232 7⁄8 net.

New #3 Archery Non Typical Record

Jim Dvo­rak was bowhunt­ing in Carv­er Coun­ty on Nov 4 and took this 15 point buck. The antlers scored 236 5⁄8 Gross — 230 4⁄8 Net.

BIG VELVET BUCK FROM WINONA COUNTY

Chad Gartes­ki, of Byron, took this Winona Coun­ty bruis­er while bowhunt­ing Sept. 18. The antlers had 13 points and green-scored 184 (gross). The inside spread was 19 inch­es, and the antlers includ­ed one drop tine.

NEW WORLD RECORD & MN STATE RECORD MOOSE SHED

Ritchie Erick­son found this non­typ­i­cal moose shed in Cook Coun­ty in 2022, it had 16 points and scored 133 5⁄8

BIG 14 POINT BUCK OTTERTAIL COUNTY BUCK SCORING 184 GROSS

Nick Cour­neya shot the 7 x 7 on Nov. 7, 2021, the inside spread is 17 1/8”

17 POINT HOUSTON COUNTY BUCK TAKEN ON NOVEMBER 5, 2022

Jacob Ihrke dropped this 8 x 9 buck, the antlers mea­sured 21” inside spread and scored 181 gross.

FILLMORE COUNTY BRUISER

Daw­son Wan­gen, of Spring Val­ley, arrowed this 15-point buck Nov. 14 near his home­town in Fill­more Coun­ty. The rack had a 20 3/8‑inch inside spread and offi­cial­ly scored 175 6⁄8 net and 189 7⁄8 gross

DAKOTA COUNTY SPLIT G2 BUCK

Dave Durand bowhunt­ed on Dec. 10 in Dako­ta Coun­ty where he shot this 13 point buck. The antlers green scored 186 6⁄8 gross, with a 21” inside spread.

Van Lith Buck

The state record typ­i­cal is the largest typ­i­cal buck scor­ing 197 6⁄8 net tak­en with archery equip­ment. Curt Van Lith took this Wright Coun­ty 11 point­er with 30-inch beams in 1986. 

Saurdiff Buck

The James Saur­diff “30 gal­lon buck” from Beck­er Coun­ty scored 244 0⁄8 Net Non­typ­i­cal in 1985.

Rath Buck

This Renville Coun­ty buck scored 231 2⁄8 Net Non­typ­i­cal and was tak­en by James Rath 1977.

Klatt Buck

In 1985 David Klatt took this 191 5⁄8 Net Typ­i­cal while hunt­ing in Good­hue County.

Vakoch Buck

This state record non­typ­i­cal is largest scor­ing buck ever tak­en in MN. In 1974, Mitch Vakoch dropped this 3 points, 268 5⁄8 Net, 295 4⁄8 Gross in Nor­man County.

Knisley Buck

This 9‑point Meek­er Coun­ty buck mea­sured 183 7⁄8 typ­i­cal, and it is the world’s largest 4 by 4 framed deer.

Minnesota Monarch

This world record sin­gle & matched set was dropped by Stew­art Valen­tine in 1990. The rack scored 180 0⁄8

Breen Buck

This State Record Typ­i­cal was har­vest­ed dur­ing the firearm sea­son in 1918 near Funk­ley and ranks 10th largest in the world scor­ing 202 0⁄8.

Whitewater Buck

Tak­en in SE Min­neso­ta in 2005 firearm sea­son by Mario Morales. The rack had a 30 inch inside spread, and scored 186 6⁄8 net typ­i­cal and 208 4⁄8 net nontypical.

Wackler Buck

Jer­ry John­son shot this 10-point albi­no white­tail near his rur­al Cam­bridge home in 1994, and will be dis­play­ing it at the Out­door News Deer & Turkey Classic.

Cannon Falls Poached Buck

Turn In Poach­ers (TIP) will have the Big 8 point­er that was poached near Can­non Falls on dis­play in their exhibit.

Miller Sheds

Excel­sior’s Jay Miller will have on dis­play a repli­ca of the Min­neso­ta record typ­i­cal shed antlers.

Kreidermacher Buck

Cer­ti­fied as a new state record for a non-typ­i­cal muz­zle­loader kill, Stan Krei­der­ma­cher’s 28-point­er with a net score of 248 5⁄8.

Luzinski Buck

This 24 point buck was tak­en by Deb Luzin­s­ki while bowhunt­ing on Oct. 27, 2006, cur­rent­ly it’s the high­est scor­ing buck tak­en by a woman using archery equipment.

Ben Miller Buck

Ben Miller will be at the Out­door News Deer & Turkey Clas­sic dis­play­ing his Min­neso­ta Record Book buck that he dropped in 2009.

Ole Wire Buck

Jon Hatleli of Rush­ford shot this old Fill­more Coun­ty buck on Nov. 8, 2015.

Burgdorf Buck

This Winona Coun­ty buck was tak­en by Mike Burgdorf on Nov. 11, 2012. It scored 202 3⁄8 gross, 193 1⁄8 net rank­ing it 8th largest typ­i­cal tak­en in Minnesota.

State Record Black Bear

This Min­neso­ta state record black bear, that scored
22 10⁄16, was tak­en by
Jesse Koskinie­mi in Wade­na Coun­ty in 2017.
